I thank the PRC's Board and staff for this opportunity and look forward to working collaboratively with parents and their children, community members, area educators, volunteers, donors and fellow agencies to help PRC reach it's finest potential."
Welcome to the center! This is truly my home away from home and I hope that you find that to be true as well. I am passionate about have a healthy work-life balance and PRC has allowed my family to blossom. I have made incredible friends here as well have my children. I enjoy working with other families and bouncing ideas around as to how to make this whole "parenting" thing unforgettable. I am positive that we are not in it to do it alone. It takes support, advice from good friends and coffee to raise children with incredible character and hearts. I have found this at the PRC and you will too! See you soon!
I greatly enjoy
working with families and am extremely excited to join the team at
PRC! I have a variety of experiences that I am excited to bring to
the center! My most recent experience was as a case manager in a
non-profit organization. I have worked with adults with
developmental disabilities, facilitated seminars, and worked with
children as a private childcare provider.
I am very excited to be a part of the PRC team! After graduating from Cazenovia College in May of 2010, with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, it's great to be joining an organization that is so dedicated to helping families on a daily basis. Originally from Hamilton, NY, I recently moved to Corning to further my professional interests and have found the Southern Tier to be a wonderful new home. I can't wait to meet new people and expand my knowledge of the human services field.
I have had many great opportunities and experiences with my first year here at the PRC. Thank you to all the families for welcoming me and opening my eyes to the incredible world of children. Being a support staff, I enjoy playing with the kids, making arts and crafts, and welcoming families to the center. In the fall I will begin my next journey at BOCES in the Adult Cosmetology Program; however, I will continue my efforts here at the PRC as well! Hope to see you at the PRC soon!
Hi, my name is Annette Pierson. I began my college practicum at the PRC in October 2008. I truly enjoyed the experience and built a great relationship with the other staffers here. I was hired on after my practicum and continue to enjoy my time here meeting each new family that stops in to play. I am also employed by Healthy Families of Steuben during the week. You can find me here at the center on Saturday and for the many birthday parties we host. I have gained so much by talking with parents, grandparents and their kids.
Thank you for welcoming me to the PRC. I have been a parent of the center for many years and am thrilled to be part of the "Me Time" programming. My bachelor's degree is in Early Childhood Education. I bring with me a great deal of experience working with young children and families. While at the center you can find me doing crafts, making play dough, singing songs and telling stories. Hope to see you soon! |
