Volunteer Spotlight

Nina Socha

We are so grateful for the staff, volunteers and donors who help make the PRC's mission possible. We are excited to spotlight Nina Socha, who has been a Hospitality Volunteer for Starry Night and Supporter of the PRC since 2016.

At left, Nina Socha and family.

Why led you to start volunteering at the PRC?
The PRC is a unique organization in what it offers and provides to children and families at an extremely reasonable cost.  If the PRC were to close its doors, many areas of the community would suffer. Every little bit helps, so I am happy to contribute what I can!

What is the best part about volunteering at the PRC?
The Starry Night event is always a great time, so why not combine a night of fun with volunteering along the way?  I also really enjoy getting to know members of the community and sharing social time around the idea table.

What do you do when you’re not working/volunteering?
My husband and I have a preschooler who keeps me on my toes inside and out. Literally- outside. We are an outdoor family and enjoy all things with a fresh air experience.  .

What was your favorite childhood game?
Red rover, red rover, send Nina right over!
