Starry Night will kick off with a virtual Lunch & Learn, “The Case for Investing in Children: An Economic Perspective” featuring Dr. Jessica Pac, Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Early childhood experiences have lifelong effects on employment, earning, and health. Dr. Pac will sketch the opportunity landscape for children in our community and highlight research-based interventions for healthy child development and thriving family engagement. Time will be reserved for Q & A and participants will be directed to local resources that yield optimal outcomes for children and families.
