Starry Night Auction & Zoom Party FAQs

Do I need a ticket to attend the Starry Night Auction or Zoom Party?

No, you do not need a ticket for either event. All you need to do to attend the Zoom party is pre-register for the event HERE. Just like an in-person event, we are asking all guests to RSVP so we can keep you up-to-date on event information. To participate in the auction, visit: (You will need to register with 32Auctions to bid on items). 

How much does it cost to attend this event? 

The auction and Zoom party are both free! However, guests can choose to financially support the PRC by participating in our online auction and bidding on the amazing auction items we have, donate a PRC Star Board item (just scroll to "PRC Star Board" on the auction list drop down menu) or click on the "Donate Now" button above. 


How does the online auction work? 

The entire auction will be done online this year. The online auction will open at 6AM on Saturday, August 22, and will close at 10PM on Saturday, August 29 (one hour after our virtual event ends). Once the auction begins, you will be able to view each auction item and bid as often and as much as you'd like. If you don't want to bid on items but still want to support the PRC, you can choose to donate an item off the PRC Star Board. Just select "PRC Star Board" on the auction list drop down menu and you'll see a listing of the PRC's specific needs you can help to fund!


What will the program be like during the Starry Night Zoom party?

 The Starry Night Zoom party will take place from 7-9PM on Saturday, August 29. From 7-7:30PM, PRC Executive Director, Shena Rossettie, will give a brief welcome with highlights from 2019/2020, an overview of our funding needs, and plans for the future. Stick around after for a fun game of trivia and giveaways (including a $100 Wegmans gift card!) from 7:30-9PM. 


How does the Starry Night auction work?

2. On Saturday, August 22 at 6AM the Starry Night auction will be open for bidding. Visit to browse items!

3. Be sure to get your bids in before the auction closes on Saturday, August 29 at 10PM. 

How do I know if I win an online auction item?

You will receive an email from 32auctions informing you that you have won an item. 

If I win an online auction item, how do I pick it up?

Gift cards will be (e)mailed to auction winner within 2 weeks after auction ends.

Larger items are available for pick up only at the following date/time:

- Sunday, August 30, 12-5PM or
- By appointment

Pickup location is in downtown Corning. Instructions/address will be given to winner after auction ends. Items not picked up by October 1st will be considered donated back to the PRC.
